Basic education (ISCED level 1 and 2)

Basic education is a 9-year compulsory education, which starts at the age of 7. The curriculum of the basic education as well as the content of the national exams is determined by the national education standards. After the completion of the basic education a person receives a Certificate of the Basic Education and a statement of records.
