Payment (once the approval is at the Consulate):
Payment can be made at Consulate (by debit card only), or by Postal Order, payable to the Brazilian Consulate General, which can be purchased at any Post Office.
Visa Fees: R$453.00* for nationals of all countries, with exception to the listed below, which might be exempt of a visa fee, or will have to pay an additional fee, on a reciprocity basis:
*Italian citizens are exempt of this visa fee, on a reciprocity basis.
* British citizens will be subject to an additional R$351.00 processing fee, on a reciprocity basis. This fee is only applicable to the applicant and not to the dependents accompanying him/her.
* United Arab Emirates citizens are subject to an additional fee of R$125.00, on a reciprocity basis.
* USA citizens are subject to an additional processing fee of R$317.00 on a reciprocity basis. On the same basis, attendance of the applicant in person is mandatory.
* Those requiring a visa to be issued on a Brazilian Laissez-Passer must pay a consular fee of R$182.00 for the issuance of the document, apart from the visa fee of R$453.00.
