Types of Visas

If you are a citizen of a Schengen/EU/EEA state you do not need a Visa to enter the country.

If you need a VISA you must contact the Embassy of Iceland, or one that represents Iceland in your country, see list of embassies (LIST).

You can apply for one of the following visa’s before coming to Iceland

Tourist visa
Visit to friends/relatives
Business
Studies
Official Visit
For political, scientific, cultural, sports or religious events and other reasons.
