In Argentina you have different options; to send your child to a private school, public, international school or to a vocational programs.
You must also consider if you want to send your child to a religious school or not. The 25 % of the students attend private schools, and within that 63% go to Catholic schools.
Public School
In Argentina, public primary schools are free, but the public transport, books and uniforms must be purchased by the students. The uniforms are worn over regular clothes and look like white laboratory coats.
Private Schools
Most of the times, the privates schools are Catholic Church funded institutions and they are not free. Students normally have to wear a formal school uniform. Also in the private school, books and pencils are not provided.
International School
The big cities such as Cordoba, Buenos Aires, etc, it is possible to find international schools, where they usually teach in English and Spanish.
