The public policy of qualification developed within the Ministry of Labour and Employment – MTE gradually promotes the universal right of workers to the qualification, in order to contribute to the increase of obtaining employment and decent work and participation in the process of generating opportunity for employment and income, social inclusion, poverty reduction, combating discrimination and reduce vulnerability of populations.
SENAI – Certification System of Persons
In order to formally recognize the knowledge, skills and competencies of the worker, the Senai instituted the Personnel Certification – SSCP. The goal is to improve the skills of workers, to improve the economic and social development of the country and to recognise that a person has the necessary qualifications for a professional practice in a particular field of activity.
